This is not exactly my weblog but I rarely update it.

My research interests are the following (updated once in a while)

  • Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Processing
  • Dynamical Quantum Error Correction and Control
  • Stochastic and Probabilistic Methods for Identification and Control
  • Functional Analysis, Combinatorial Design, Ergodicity

I used to do some cosmology and theoretical high energy but that was long time ago... The focus right now is on dynamical quantum error correction.

Here is a list of my publications (some published in peer reviewed journals) automatically generated at citebase.org.

Besides my academic work, I also enjoy other things such as: (random order)

  • Pamenar: The beauty of Pamenar and the second bridge on the highway to Saveh
  • Music: Classical, Electronic, etc.
  • Science: physics, psychology, mathematics and parts of computer science and biology
  • Books: Too many weird stuff to include.
  • Film: Too many weird stuff to include.
  • Visual Arts: Photography, Design, Vector Art

I come from Iran. Iran is a country in the middle east (south west Asia). I got my bachelor of science at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. I used to be a research student at Iranian Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics. I moved to Toronto, Canada to study at University of Toronto where I got my master's degree in 2001 and became a Ph.D. Candidate until I moved along with my then advisor, Prof. Daniel Lidar to Los Angeles, California where I got my Ph.D. in physics in 2007.
